Horrifying animation shows why you should never use the hand dryers in a public bathroom

A horrifying animation has revealed the exact reason why you should never use the hand dryers in a public bathroom.

And the truth has left a lot of viewers feeling quite queasy after watching the clip.

The shocking video was posted to YouTube by Zack D. Films, with the video description explaining that this is the reason why ‘you should never use hand dryers’.

In the clip, it details: “When you flush a public toilet, poop particles float through the air. And when you turn on the hand dryer, they get sucked inside and blasted onto your skin, covering you in poop germs.

“And once you leave the bathroom, they can be transferred onto everything you touch. Even your face will carry some of those poop particles, meaning you should just use a paper towel to dry your hands.”

Many people have taken to the YouTube comment section to share their own reactions to the grim video, with one user writing: “As a kid, I was always scared of hand dryers because of the loud noises they made, this just backs up my fear for being correct.”

Another said: “And this is also why I tell my family to flush the toilet when it’s closed not when it’s open.”

A third person commented: “This is why the fact so many public toilets don’t have lids is disgusting.”

And a fourth added: “Saw this mid-way through my dinner in a restaurant after I wash my hand and dried with hand dryer, thanks Zack.”

But luckily, one person had some good news, saying: “Mythbusters did this. Spray from a toilet goes 5ft tops. Drops aren’t small enough to float in the air too long. It doesn’t travel 20-30ft. And newer hand dryers have filters. Even HEPA filters. Not saying they are changed regularly.”

This isn’t the first simulation for Zack, who previously showed his viewers how to crack a safe.

However, this has proven to be a controversial tutorial with many viewers pointing out that it might not be the best idea to post about online as it could fall into the wrong hands.

In the video, it said: “Starting at zero, listen closely while slowly turning the dial to the left.

“You’ll hear two clicks when you find an unlocking gap in the wheel graph, the number of each click as well as the starting point then reset it at two and test again.

“Keep going graphing the clicks until you’ve gone around the whole dial then lay your graphs over each other.

“Wherever the lines meet shows the location of the unlocking gaps and the matching numbers will make up the code.

“Try them in different combinations and eventually the gaps will line up, opening the door.”
